Dina Meyer is a New York native who was raised in Forest Hills Queens. She moved from Queens to Dix Hills Long Island just when she was finishing her senior high school. There are two of her siblings: an older brother whose name is Gregory and a younger one called Evan. Her first experience in the industry of entertainment was when she did some modeling at the age of 9 to sixteen. Her acting career began at The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She was a student of Sanford Meisner's techniques along with Ron Stetson for three years. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among the other actors who received such instruction. Her first acting role came from Beverly Hills 90210. This led to her relocating to Los Angeles. The role was as the lead lady on Johnny Mnemonic in which she was able to perform almost every stunt by herself. She also established herself as a skilled actress. The talent agent she worked with was also representing Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent, she was able to secure a role in the show Friends.
